Women killed in tanker collision
A 70 year old women from Bournemouth has been killed after a road traffic accident involving a petrol tanker.
The women’s car collided with the tanker driven by a 44 year old man from South Wales. The tanker was heading to Bere Regis.
The women died from serious injuries at the scene on Mill Street, A31 in Wimbourne. It is not yet known if the driver of the tanker incurred personal injuries.
The accident happened at around 8pm on Thursday 12th November. Police closed the road for several hours and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
