Will I have to go to court?
In the majority of personal injury claims the case is settled out of court. Therefore, although there is a possibility that your accident claim could go to court, the chance of this happening are relatively slim. The main reason for this is that the litigation costs of defending a claim in court can be very high. Insurance companies involved in such claims will therefore not risk the potential costs of going to court unless there is strong evidence in favor of there defence.
