Sir Ranulph Fiennes in car crash
Polar explorer and adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes has been involved in a road traffic accident on the A6 in Stockport.
Fiennes Jaguar swerved across the road and collided with a Nissan Micra travelling in the opposite direction. Fiennes was seen to have looked dazed with blood on his face. The driver of the Micra suffered leg injuries and a five year old was treated for minor head injuries.
The car accident happened on Saturday 6th March the day after Fiennes took part in a 42 mile over night endurance race. Police are looking into whether Fiennes had fallen asleep at the wheel.
