A woman has suffered several fractures after a three-car crash on Sunday 13th December. The accident happened at 10.50am on the London bound road between junctions 8 and 9.
The women driver had to be cut free from the wreckage before being taken to William Harvey Hospital. Her injuries were serious but not thought to be life threatening.
Two children travelling with the injured woman left the car unharmed.
