A Dorset woman had to be cut from her Renault Laguna three miles from the scene of an accident. The minor collision that also involved a Hyundai Accent, happened on Lansdowne Road, Bournemouth on Monday 14th December.

Fire crews were called to College Road in Boscombe to release the women who had injured her back in the crash. Police closed the road between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to allow the fire team to cut the roof of the woman’s car and to remove the vehicle for the area.

The women was taken to Poole Hospital to be treated for her back injuries which are not thought to be life threatening but were classed as serious.
