Upholsterer ordered to pay compensation to police after vandalising cars

A 59-year-old upholsterer who scattered tacks outside three Kent police stations has been ordered to pay the force compensation.

London riot compensation victims ‘betrayed’

Pothole compensation costs South Lanarkshire Council dearly

South Lanarkshire Council has paid out £215,000 in compensation payments for potholes between the years 2006 and 2011.

Business fined over crane accident and worker injury

A scaffolding firm from Bury have been fined £40,000 after a crane accident left an employee severely injured.
In 2008, David Collins, 31, was working for Spectra Scaffolding in Stoke-on-Trent.
